Most any type of sandwich works for me...PBJ's are a great item to fix that empty spot in your belly.
As a kid, I remeber eating mustard or ketchup sandwiches a lot...just bread and mustard (or ketchup. Always worked for me.
Thanks my friend.

I just posted a bit about Grilled Cheese Sandwiches- from food storage cheese.

now kymber and i gotta go make some more bred!

When I was a kid, Mom used to make bean / bacon tacos with homemade flour tortillas, it was a rare vacation when they weren't gone in the first 100 miles of trip, lol.
One of my favorite meat sandwiches are the canned chicken fillings. Take an envelope of mayonaisse or mustard to combine with drained can, and put on bread in folded slice of bread. Great stuff, no refrigeration required.
Spam, spam, spam, spam....yer basic survival "meat" and bread.

If you can make bread, making sandwiches is a piece of cake!
Simple meals sometimes taste the best, especially when you don't have to wait for the meal to cook.
Thanks jambaloney.

Seriously, I've thought about sandwiches since I was a boy. Nearly every culture has something approximating a sandwich: That is, a cooked dough with a filling of some kind. It's the perfect guy food, too. because it can be eaten with the hands. No dishes to do.
Hey anon 4:10, tortilla tacos fit that description as well. When we cook food on the grill, we warm up the tortillas on there alongside it and using the tortilla, just grab the meat from the grill, wrap it up and munch - no utensils needed at all!
