Good post - yeah cold and flu season is here, gotta do what you gotta do to stay healthy. Healthy eating is part of it.
Have you ever heard of snake oil? Sodium chlorite mixed with citric acid. Supposedly makes a good 'stay healthy' concoction that keeps a body good. Comrade Simba's blog had a post on it.
Have a good weekend Riverwalker.
Ionic (Colloidal) Silver.
We make our own. Been using it for years.

How about good old fashioned sunlight? Exposing parts of our skin in the winter months will allow us to absord natural vitamins we can only get from the sun. Our Vitamin D levels are 1/3 what they are in the summer months, making us more vulnerable to illnesses.
Although Vitamin D is replacated in science labs in the form of handy vitamin capsules as well as in healthy foods, but the best way to get a healthy dose of Vitamin D is from the sun. Sitting out for 15 minutes will help your skin absord the needed Vitamin D.
Here is an article I wrote on the subject:

The only snake oil I've heard about was supposed to cure anything. lol Not too sure if it worked.
I'll stink with the tomato and orange juice for now.
Have a great weekend your self.
