1.) Dandruff
Mix 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar with 1 quart of water and use the mixture as a rinse after shampooing. Twice weekly will usually eliminate your dandruff problems. Apple cider vinegar has acids which kill the yeast that cause dandruff.

2.) Gas
Eat a ½ cup of pineapple daily. The digestive enzymes in pineapple help reduce inflammation in the intestinal tract and speed up the breakdown of proteins.

3.) Cuts and minor wounds
Apply aloe vera gel to cuts to speed healing. Aloe vera contains anti-inflammatories that remove bacteria and help promote the growth of healthy new skin.

4.) Dry skin
Eat an ounce of walnuts daily. Walnuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which help support the skin’s lipid layer and which helps it to hold more moisture. Results take a couple of weeks to become evident.
Caution: If you are allergic to nuts DO NOT use this method!

5.) Sleepiness
Eat a mint! The odor stimulates the trigeminal nerve (this is the one that sends wake-up signals to the brain). You can become more alert in just a couple of minutes.

Good tips! As far as vinegar goes I've also heard it can help with fleas for those of us with pets??

Check one of my earlier posts on preppin' tips. A little vinegar mixed in their drinking water helps keep the fleas away.
