Bug Out Bag Additions for Survival Hygiene

Proper hygiene is an important part of survival. It can help you avoid numerous complications that could affect your overall health and well-being. One of the simplest things you can do is add a couple of items to your BOB or GHB to make your survival a little more pleasant. A small tube of toothpaste and a toothbrush should be an almost mandatory part anyone's bug out bag.

In a survival situation, a little hygiene will go a long way. A little toothpaste and a toothbrush will go a long way in helping you to keep dental problems from becoming a threat to your survival.

And don't forget flossing, that dental floss comes in handy for other things as well. A multi-use item for a fact. Check out this link for a few of them.

For those of us with heart conditions, there is a direct link with tooth disease and your heart - it can lead to dangerous situations.

...plus, it adds a certain degree of "normalcy" to an otherwise dreary situation...(?)

If you wash your face, hands and brush your teeth. That routine really goes a long way to make you feel better about the situation at hand.

Yeah it's a great idea to include a toothbrush and paste in your BOB (along with some floss, which can double as fishing wire, sewing thread, stitching wounds, etc)

Another thing- TOILET PAPER. It's one of those things no one thinks about until it runs out...
