Fun to read. Mosin-Nagants, I have 5 of them. Wait...no, six, now that I think of it. All the stuff about the bayonet is true, too!!

They were a true workhorse for the Russian military and are as close to indestructible as you will get.

I have one dated 1910, with intact imperial Russian crests. 1910 is also the same year my grandmother was born. All of the Mosin-Nagants are in arsenal rebuilt condition, luckily without the cosmoline. While they are not my first choice for defense, they will do in a pinch; if the Soviet peasant boys couldn't wreck them, I doubt I will.
