Thought everyone might enjoy a close-up view of one of nature's little creatures. It's amazing that nature comes up with such a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors...even with something as simple as a grasshopper.

Nice picture. Grasshoppers are great target practice with airsoft. Plentiful, mobile, cheap, available, challenging (well, sometimes). You don't have to go to the range to sharpen up. Then there are always wasps if you want to crank it up a notch. :)
ReplyDeleteNice shot. Never fails take a grasshopper photo and see that its wings are not fully developed, the reason it let you get close is it could not "fly" away.

ReplyDeleteThis has a ways to go before being fully matured and presented a good opportunity for a close-up shot.
Most of the time it's difficult to get a good picture otherwise because they refuse to sit still long enough for their picture to be taken.
