They say the last Jaguar killed in the Rio Grande Valley was in the 40's. Man, them's big kittys - said to be the 3rd largest cat, behind the Tiger and Lion.
Hope you and Grandson had a good time - kids grow up so fast.
A friend of mine has a place with about 1500 acres and swears there is one that travels through his place regularly. I've seen the tracks and we've followed the tracks through a creek bed and a dry wash but have never seen it. Probably because we were making too much noise. Plus I don't think you will see them unless they want you to! They'll smell you long before you see them.

BTW, Grandson and I had a great time! He wanted to know if he could take it home. I said I don't think so!
Did you take this!? Where is this at?

ReplyDeleteThis is a picture of a jaguar. It was taken at the San Antonio Zoo on a trip with my grandson. I fortunately don't have any cats in my yard this big.
