Plans are under way to go on
a short road trip and get away from the house for a while. It’s felt like I was
under house arrest the last several weeks and I was sure that I might succumb
to cabin fever. It’s been a while since there were any serious opportunities to
do some riverwalking and now that my rehab has started it seems like a good
time to start back up. Hopefully this will help speed up my rehabilitation
after surgery.
The plan is to visit a river
area that can only be reached by dirt trail and is subject to flooding in wet
weather. There’s not much chance of rain at this time of year and should be a
good time to make the trek. It’s best to know the terrain and the area where
you’re planning to travel. You won’t have any unwanted surprises that way.
Hopefully, I will be able to
get some good outdoor and nature pics for everyone to enjoy. When you’re
riverwalking, you never really know what you may come across. While not fully recovered, things are beginning
to return to a somewhat more normal state.
Got rehab?
Staying above the water
line!

You know as I do you will run across several or more things of interest.
Glad you're getting out and are able to do this. Now the getting better will go faster.
Best of luck on your R&R and your rehab.
...enjoy Brother
...remember tho, there is no "normal"...there is only that which we are prepared for, or not...
Have fun, but take it slow. And if you get winded - just take a short break. Enjoy the outdoors.
Glad to hear you’re getting better. Best wishes.

Thanks.
My recovery is starting to pick up now and moving at a slightly faster pace. The heat still bothers me quite a bit and the fact that it's August doesn't help.
