Way back, in the Teton Wilderness, in Wyoming there is a really cool spot called "Parting of the Waters".
It is a creek that splits into two directions, one that feeds into Pacific Creek , that feeds into the Snake River system, and eventually heads to the Pacific Ocean. The other one feeds into Atlantic Creek, which then feeds into the Yellowstone River system, and eventually heads to the Atlantic Ocean.
Parting of the Waters, is a very peaceful and a surreal feeling location. Been there many times and have taken lots of clients there. A must stop when on Pack trips in the Teton Wilderness.
