Smokin' Sausage

The ground finally dried out some after the recent rains and Mrs. RW was busy tilling the new garden space. I decided to smoke some sausage for supper. All in all, it was a very productive day.

BTW, the pic is suitable for use as wallpaper.

  3. ...we had sausage in my cookin'drum a couple weekends back,along with a tinfoil 'pan' of kraut and onions,it added a nice smoky sweetness to the tart kraut(wiping a little drool from my chin)...well worth the wait...

  4. Thanks everyone! Mrs. RW is a big sausage fan and loves sauerkraut also! We tried out a new type of sausage and although it was tasty...it did turn out to be a little saltier than we preferred. Probably going to go back to the local home-made variety from the local meat market.
