  1. Fencing in those monsters is a rather dicey proposition. I've seen details on it. 8" diameter wood posts @ 10'-0" on center, with 10 strands of barbed wire 12" apart vertically. The cost runs on par with deer high fence, which is somewhere between $15,000 - $20,000 per mile.

    Bison are amazingly strong, and have the brains of an ice cube. You do not want to go toe to toe with one of these animals - they will give you the New Look mighty quickly.
