Don't you have your 10/22 handy? You could pretty quickly and easily assure that he won't be back to bother you! I've had to get rid of a nuisance opossum or two before with the old Ruger.
Pesky critters can also be trapped but a shotgun or a 22 works also. This particular critter is a regular visitor and is going to need to be re-located or dispatched in a firm manner sooner or later. He does have an appetite for kitty food!
Kitty food... That was the problem with the last one I had to get rid of. I made the mistake of shooting him while he was still on the wood porch (I didn't want him to run off in the dark and hide under the porch). Made quite a mess and the blood stained the wood a bit darker! Oops.
An expedient oxygen absorber for a 5 gallon storage container can be made by placing a golf ball size piece of steel wool and a tablespoon of salt inside a paper napkin and placing it in the container. The salt will absorb the residual moisture and the steel wool will naturally absorb the oxygen.
Preppin' Tips - Recipes
Make Your Own Electrolyte Beverage (Gatorade, Pedialyte, etc.)
To one quart of water add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 8 teaspoons of granulated sugar. Thoroughly mix all ingredients together.
This will replace electrolytes lost by the body due to dehydration caused by diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating, etc. A package of Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, etc. may be added to enhance the flavor and color.

Probably going to use a trap...just put a new deck on the porch and don't want to ruin it.
Thanks Josh.
