...sorry RW...all i see is breakfast and lunch... ...i haven't touched the squirrels around here in 10 months, got 6 breeding pair within site...lull them into a false sense of security, selectively harvest with air rifle when necessary...and have ya ever had a couple overeasy eggs,on flash fried dove?...sorry...drifting...
You did an excellent job of figuring out one of the main points of the picture. The squirrel is doing most of the work but the dove will get the most to eat. Very observant of you. Way to go Jim!
I see you haven't had lunch yet. It's hard to look at a squirrel and a dove in the same picture and NOT think of food when you're hungry.
You did an excellent job of catching one of the other points the picture makes. It's easier to get them to come to you sometimes than it is to try and find them where they live. Thanks Ken!
An expedient oxygen absorber for a 5 gallon storage container can be made by placing a golf ball size piece of steel wool and a tablespoon of salt inside a paper napkin and placing it in the container. The salt will absorb the residual moisture and the steel wool will naturally absorb the oxygen.
Preppin' Tips - Recipes
Make Your Own Electrolyte Beverage (Gatorade, Pedialyte, etc.)
To one quart of water add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 8 teaspoons of granulated sugar. Thoroughly mix all ingredients together.
This will replace electrolytes lost by the body due to dehydration caused by diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating, etc. A package of Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, etc. may be added to enhance the flavor and color.

Dang RW, you're a lot smaller than I thought you'd be! And fuzzier...
I womder if it's hard to eat those seeds hanging upside down?
That dove is sitting where he knows where the majority of the seed is goimg to go as the fuzzy one tries to eat!

Very funny! LOL BTW, my tail isn't that long or that fuzzy. Ha Ha!
I thought this was a good picture to illustrate a number of different points. the first one is how well the dove blends into his surroundings.
