Gun Pics - Taurus Millenium (non-Pro) PT-111 9mm

Right Side View

Left Side View

The right side view shows the hole for the Taurus locking mechanism and the large extractor that also works as a loaded round indicator. The left side view shows the slide release pin, the push button magazine release and the safety in the "ON" position.

Staying above the water line!

This is actually a compact frame model that weighs just a little over 18 ounces(w/o ammo). It is 10+1 with standard clip. The barrel is 3.25 inches. The length = 6.125 inches, width = 1.125 inches, and height = 5.125 inches. It is a "pocket pistol" for me but should work nicely for the wife to use. Small, lightweight, and adequate firepower in the 9mm was the combination I was looking to find for the wife and at $200 was a bargain. New they are in the $450 to $500 range and most used ones go for $300 to $350 depending upon the area. I got this from a guy needing some quick cash and I gave him some very quickly! Thanks.

The pic makes it look like a big pistol. The pic is actually about 40 or 45% larger than the actual pistol. I wanted to show a little better detail with the pictures. It fits nicely in my jeans front pocket, aka, "pocket pistol". I'm not sure about the weight of the pistol with a loaded magazine...not a lot of extra weight for 11 rounds.
