To: shiloh1862It's a little ways off the beaten path but a little river walking is good for the body and the mind! Thanks.RW
I love the San Marcos river. I've floated the "trail" so many times I can't even tell ya! MMMM cold and refreshing!
Sure reminds me of the old days along the rivers of central Texas! The San Gabriel, San Marcus, all the rivers and creeks and streams and springs...good times for sure!
To: SciFiChickIt slows down considerably as you get further from the springs in San Marcos. "Floated" it a few times myself.RW
To: HermitJimHopefully we'll get some rain soon and the rivers can get back to a more normal flow rate. Thanks Jim!RW
...just a tad off topic, but do ya/can ya fish it ?...
To: KenFish it any time you want. There were a couple of guys fishing a few hundred yards away when I took the picture.RW
